Smile Education are a Crown Commercial Services (CCS) approved supplier; through this partnership we are seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join this welcoming school based in north Birmingham.

We are delighted to be working alongside this vibrant primary in the recruitment of a Year 6 Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will be joining the team from January 2023, this is full-time role due to last until the end of the academic year with a view to become a temp-perm role after an initially 12-week period. You will be primarily supporting pupils in the build up to KS2 SATs in the summer term, provided excellent intervention support to both small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required.

The school is located within proximity to Hodge Hill, Shard End, Stetchford, Ward End, Washwood Heath and Birmingham City Centre. Applicants will have the opportunity to meet our client prior to being appointed to the role. The expected salary range for this position is between £70 -£85 per day, dependent on experience level. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification- for example, Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in School

• Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum

• Able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area
