Teaching Personnel

£350 - 400 per week

A brilliant all boys school in Littlehampton are looking for Mentors to join their team. The school caters for boys aged 9-16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and was graded 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection.

A strong focus for the school is creative therapies such as art, drama and music and the welfare and emotional development of the pupils is at the centre of what they do. 

The school welcomes applicants with the following experience and/or qualities:

  • Caring and empathetic with the ability to sympathise and understand behaviours and emotions
  • Resilience 
  • Experience as a support worker, mental health worker, sports coach or mentor
  • Experience in a similar setting working with children
  • A knowledge of SEMH and/or SEN 
  • Experience with family members who have SEMH and/or SEN
  • A genuine passion for supporting children who need it most

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
