Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide 1:1 tutoring to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in GCSE subjects
  • Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and learning styles
  • Assist students in developing study skills, organisation, and time management
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Knowledge of GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with ASD

  • Understanding of different learning needs and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Ability to establish rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Additional training or certification in special education or autism support
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Work primarily in a student's home
  • May require travel between different locations
  • Flexible hours to accommodate student schedules

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
