Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties: As a 1:1 GCSE Tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualised tutoring sessions to students preparing for their GCSE exams. This includes developing tailored lesson plans, conducting assessments, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to help students improve their understanding of key subjects.
Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification and experience in tutoring or teaching at the GCSE level. Strong subject knowledge in the relevant GCSE subjects is essential.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE students, preferably in a 1:1 setting.
Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, strong organisational skills, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or training in specific GCSE subjects would be beneficial.
Working Conditions: The role has flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions. The work will primarily take place in a home, care home or public library.
