Full-time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant needed for immediate start in a SEN setting located in Stotfold, Hertfordshire.

Position: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Location: Stotfold, Hertfordshire

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support, particularly for students with behavioural challenges.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Support students in developing coping strategies, social skills, and positive behaviours.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote a positive and nurturing atmosphere for all students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN and behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
