The 1:1 SEN Specialist Tutor will provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This involves creating individualised learning plans, delivering lessons according to the student's needs, and tracking progress.

- Recognised teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with SEN

- Knowledge of SEN provisions and best practises

A degree in Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

- Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Additional training or certification in Special Educational Needs

- Experience in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

This role involves working closely with students in a one-on-one setting at the student's home. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student schedules and needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
