£20 - £30 Per hour

The 1:1 SEN Specialist Tutor will provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis. This includes creating individualised learning plans, implementing specialised teaching techniques, and monitoring progress regularly.

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with SEN

- Strong understanding of different learning styles and needs

A degree in Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

- Additional training in SEN support

- Experience in conducting assessments and writing progress reports

This role will involve working closely with students in their homes. The ability to travel to different locations may be required. The work hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
