  • Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting
  • Implement individualised education plans and strategies to support the learning and development of each student
  • Assist students with academic tasks, social skills development, and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Relevant experience in working with individuals with SEN
  • Childcare Level 2/3 Qualification

Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or related field

Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting

  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Additional training in SEN support or related areas
  • Experience with specific learning disabilities or behavioural disorders
  • Work primarily in a school or educational setting
  • May require occasional travel to different locations within the region
  • Full-time hours with potential for overtime or additional responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
