Salary: £95 - £105 Per day

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Implement individual education plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Assist students with academic tasks and personal care, if required
  • Monitor and track student progress, reporting observations to the SENCO
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or equivalent

Prior experience working in a similar role providing 1:1 support to individuals with SEN

  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Additional training in areas such as Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach
  • Experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

This role involves working in a school setting with students with SEN. The job may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
