Education and Training

£83.95 - £95 Per day

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
  • Implement individualised education plans and assist with academic and social development
  • Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the SENCO and other relevant staff
  • Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Educated to at least A-Level standard or equivalent

Prior experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preferred

  • Knowledge of SEN code of practise and relevant legislation
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Work within a school environment
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
