£20 - £30 Per hour

The 1:1 SEN Tutor will work closely with a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) providing tailored academic support and guidance. Duties include developing personalised learning plans, delivering lessons in accordance with the student's needs, monitoring progress, and adapting teaching methods as required.

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with SEN

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

At least 2 years of experience in a teaching or tutoring role, preferably with SEN students

- Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises

- Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students

- Additional certifications in Special Education or SEN teaching

- Experience with individualised education plans (IEPs)

This role involves working one-on-one with a student, in the student's home. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate the student's schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
