We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Worker to join a school that specializes in supporting children with ASD. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, helping them thrive both academically and socially in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD, adapting to their individual needs.
• Assist with classroom activities and ensure the child is fully engaged in learning.
• Support the child with emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to implement tailored strategies.
• Encourage the child’s independence and boost their confidence.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship with the child.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Relevant qualifications in Education, Psychology, or Child Development (desirable but not essential).
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Registration to the EWC(Education workforce council)
