Trafford Specific 1:1 small group Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for someone with Teaching Assistant experience (essential) who has worked with SEN pupils (desirable) that is free full time after the Easter break to work at an Ofsted Good rated school in Trafford. The school are looking to appoint someone full-time on a temporary basis until the end of the school year in July.

The successful candidate will be supporting students with Additional Learning difficulties (ADHD/Autism) in a 1:1 and small group setting in an external classroom provision during school hours. The School (11-16 Secondary School) has excellent facilities and is very supportive of all its staff.

This role would be ideal for someone who is considering doing their teacher training in the future and is looking to gain the necessary work to build their experience level in anticipation of this. By working through Teaching Personnel you will also be eligible to for future roles through any of one of the Secondary Schools that we work with. The school in question is situation in the Altrincham area of Trafford and is easily commutable to via tram or bus from the surrounding areas.

• Pay: £83 - £93 per day depending on experience.
• Full-time temporary role from April – July.
• Ofsted Good school based in Trafford.
• Registering makes you eligible for all other TA roles on offer as well.

If you are a confident, patient, and pro-active person who has prior experience of either working in Secondary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or has worked in a care setting before, then we would like to hear from you. In order to register you will need to have (or be willing to apply for) a Child Workforce DBS that is registered on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
