1:1 Teaching Assistant

An Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant, in the Grantham area, who can support with a young boy on a 1:1 basis. He displays many Behavioural, Social & Emotional needs in which a 1:1 support is required. The Teaching Assistant we are looking for needs to be an encouraging kind & positive person who has a sympathetic understanding to children with additional needs.

Duties & The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working 1:1 with challenging behaviours
• Have flexible availability – minimum of 4 days per week
• Be patient, engaging and calm when under pressure
• Maintain a safe, supportive and secure environment
• Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections and parent consultations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
