re you a creative, dynamic and experienced Teaching Assistant?

We are currently looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to motivate and engage the students attending. The desired 1:1 Teaching Assistant will work in a one-to-one capacity with students with additional needs. This full time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

Requirements

The desired 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:

  • A desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
  • A patient and caring nature
  • Good English and Maths skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent)
  • Autism awareness training(desirable) 
  • Team Teach (desirable)
  • Passionate individual, eager to gain teaching experience in Blyth
  • Willingness to provide an environment that will help students reach their full potential, building a strong rapport with students
  • Support their social and emotional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
