SEN Teaching Assistant for Primary Academy

 

SEN Teaching Assistant working 1:1 with a child diagnosed with Autism.

Experience of working with children with SEN.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a large Primary Academy based in  Manchester, who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child diagnosed with Autism. This mainstream academy offers support for children requiring a variety of special educational needs.

This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with additional needs. This large school has a friendly environment and a hard-working supportive team. This is a great opportunity for those wanting to build their experience working with children with SEN.

The Role:

•           ASC – Autism experience

•           Non verbal or verbal communicators

•           Using visual cards such as “Now and Next” and Visual Timelines.

•           1:1 and small group support with Autistic children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
