  • Provide one-on-one support to students in a classroom setting.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students with special educational needs or disabilities.
  • Help students to develop their academic and social skills.
  • Work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment.
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in Teaching Assistance or related field.

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.

  • Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
  • Additional training in safeguarding and child protection.

This role involves working in a classroom environment with students of varying abilities and needs. The hours are full-time, and the position is temporary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
