Salary: £85 - £100 Per day

  • Provide one-to-one support to students in the classroom setting
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans
  • Support students with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Help students to develop their academic and social skills
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning)
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a classroom setting
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs
  • Understanding of the UK education system
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Work within a school environment
  • Potential exposure to students with various learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
