Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's life? Do you have a knack for creating supportive and engaging learning environments? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing one-to-one support for a KS2 child with ADHD at a vibrant primary school in Bolton.

Location: Bolton

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 3.30pm

Rate of pay: 12.90- 14.50 per hour

Temp/ Prem starting in September 2024

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a KS2 child with ADHD, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging the child's social and academic development.
  • Monitor and report on the child's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to promote their success.
  • Utilise various techniques and resources to engage the child in learning activities and help them stay focused and motivated.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ADHD.
  • A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
