The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 ADHD Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a specific student with ADHD, helping them overcome learning barriers, promoting engagement, and encouraging positive behaviours in the classroom. Your role will be vital in ensuring the child's progress and well-being within the school community.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with ADHD or similar behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning and development.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • A positive and nurturing approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
  • An understanding of the Church of England ethos and a willingness to support the school's values.
