Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of an excellent school in the OL12 area seeking a Year 2 Teacher. The role is due to start the w/c 16th September due to a scheduled absence within school until October half-term initially (Friday 18th October). If you are an Early Career Teacher eager to secure a full-time role in primary education or an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity, this may be the perfect role for you!

About this role:

-          Full-time position, Monday-Friday, term time only.

-          Paid to scale earnings on weekly timesheets.

-          Starting w/c 16th September due to a scheduled absence within school until October half-term initially (Friday 18th October).

-          School have commented on the successful applicant coming into school before to complete a handover/ transition day beforehand.

Your responsibilities will include:

-          Preparing, planning and delivering high quality lessons to accelerate the learning of the pupils, taking into account those with additional needs or an EHCP.

-          Working with teaching assistants in class to support the pupils’ learning to meet personalised targets.

-          Effective marking and providing appropriate feedback.

-          Engaging in the wider life of the school, participating in staff meetings/training.

-          Nurturing pupils to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements for this role:

-          Must hold a QTS.

-          Passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

-          A good role model who can promote a love of learning to excite and enthuse students.
