Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking a skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our school office team in Blackburn. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and updating school records and databases
  • Handling incoming communications, including phone calls and emails
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of school documents
  • Coordinating schedules, appointments, and school events
  • Providing administrative support to staff, students, and parents
  • Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a school office setting
  • Familiarity with SIMS (School Information Management System)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
