A highly reputable Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join their Outstanding all-through school located in Ilford. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting the educational journey of students and enhancing the operational efficiency of a vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the school leadership team and staff, ensuring efficient daily operations.
  • Manage communication with parents, students, and external stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, including student attendance and staff information.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
  • Support the organization of school events, meetings, and activities, coordinating logistics and resources.
  • Handle inquiries and provide first-line support for students and staff, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist with financial administration, including processing invoices and managing petty cash.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school management software.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent).
