Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learners with behavioural and emotional needs. This role is based within a large ALN provision in Cardiff which works with pupils who benefit from a range of 1-2-1 and intervention support.

You will be working in small group and 1:1 setting with pupils who require additional support with managing their behaviour and emotions. This could be due to a range of Social, Emotional and Additional Learning Needs, so an understanding (whether through professional or personal experience) of ALN would be a huge benefit! The provision works with learners with a range of abilities and needs, so applications are welcome from both experienced and new Teaching Assistants with an interest in all areas of education, from Primary Education up to KS4!

 

Role and Responsibilities

-          Full-time, long-term role following a successful review.

-          Supporting pupils with a range of Additional Needs

-          Assisting with adjusting learning to fit students’ individual needs.

-          Starting ASAP

-          CF24 secondary school

 

Requirements

-          Enhanced Child Only DBS (+ Update Service Registration)

-          Available Monday to Friday, during school hours

-          Experience supporting children or adults with Additional Learning Needs.
