Art and Design Teacher

A secondary SEMH provision based in Burnley (BB12) is looking to hire a full-time Art and Design Teacher.

The provision is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will have a passion for Art & Design Technology and have a genuine love of education and an appreciation of how a nurturing and caring environment can help all children grow into happy, successful individuals.

Details of the role

Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils.

Monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher/form tutor.

Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

Contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment.

Share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Important Information

-          Full-time (Monday – Friday).

-          Competitive daily rate of pay £100-£150 p/d.

-          Temporary to Permanent contract available for the successful educator.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
