A secondary school in Lancaster are seeking an exceptional candidate to join their Art and Design faculty. The successful Art Teacher will support the development of the curriculum and teach Art across KS3 and KS4. The school are keen to appoint a candidate with a specialism within one of the following areas: Textiles, Photography, Graphics and Resistant Materials.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Art Teacher looking to further develop their teaching career in a warm and welcoming environment.

As a Teacher of Art, the successful candidate will work to provide outstanding learning opportunities and encourage a love of learning. The successful Art Teacher will join a thriving, high performing, well resourced department with a team of highly committed professionals who are passionate about raising standards and learning outcomes for all students.

To be considered for this role you would need to have:

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or QTLS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • ECT applicants welcome
  • A qualification in Art to a degree (or equivalent) level
