Position: Art Teacher
Location: Preston, Lancashire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art & Design: Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering creativity and technical skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Plan, prepare, and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that meets national standards.
  • Student Support: Guide and mentor students in developing their artistic abilities, encouraging experimentation and self-expression.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for GCSE exams.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead or assist in art clubs, exhibitions, and school projects to further inspire student engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in secondary education.
  • Artistic Expertise: Strong knowledge of various art mediums, techniques, and art history.
  • Passion for Teaching: A commitment to motivating and inspiring students of all abilities.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to connect with students, staff, and parents to build a positive learning environment.
