Hours: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm)
Position: Temporary

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through art? An alternative provision in the Blackburn area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team. This full-time, temporary position is a unique opportunity to make a real impact, working with students who benefit from a more tailored, supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative art lessons to secondary school students
  • Foster a love of art, encouraging students to express themselves through creativity
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with diverse abilities and backgrounds
  • Support the emotional and social development of students, helping them to build confidence through their artistic achievements

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for teaching art and inspiring young people
  • Experience in secondary education, ideally within alternative provision settings
  • Flexibility, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in art teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
