Attendance Support Officer – Primary School

Teaching Personnel are looking for an organised and proactive Attendance Support Officer to monitor and improve student attendance at their primary school. This vital role involves working closely with families, staff, and external agencies to ensure that all children attend school regularly and punctually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily attendance, identifying patterns and working to address barriers to consistent attendance.
  • Engage with parents and carers to offer support and advice, including home visits when necessary.
  • Liaise with external agencies to provide targeted support for students and families.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet attendance targets.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
