  • Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to students with High-Functioning Autism (HFA)
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies, in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs
  • Encourage independence, social interaction, and communication skills through structured activities
  • Assist with classroom tasks, ensuring students remain focused and engaged
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching staff
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the emotional and educational needs of each student
  • Experience working with children or young adults with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), specifically High-Functioning Autism (HFA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents effectively
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude toward supporting SEN learners
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent SEN qualifications)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
