About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and skilled ASC Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Liverpool. This temporary position, starting in September 2024 and ending in December 2024, is ideal for individuals committed to providing exceptional support to students with ASC. You will be working with a KS1 pupil on a one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with class teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide tailored support to the KS1 pupil with ASC, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Promote social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and structured activities.
  • Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable).
