Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding post and seeking to extend your career in education?

A Secondary School in Clitheroe, Lancashire are looking to appoint a Behaviour Learning Mentor to join the school from April 2024. We are seeking applications from individuals not only from people wanting to develop as Teaching Assistants, but also from graduates who are considering a teaching career in the future.

Contract length: Initially until the end of the academic year

Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday

As a Behaviour Learning Mentor, you will be supporting the classroom teacher by assisting pupils with challenging behaviour; individually and small groups. You will provide training and advice for staff and will support teachers with the implementation of a range of interventions. You will also work alongside a range of professionals both internally and externally.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking educator, with a passion for helping young people succeed.

Teaching Personnel have launched an initiative for graduate Teaching Assistants which allows you to gain valuable experience in Secondary Schools before applying for your teaching qualification.
