Job Description:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work within our Specialist Resource Base, supporting students who may have behavioural challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping these students develop positive behaviour patterns, improve their social skills, and succeed academically. You will receive excellent support from our SEN Coordinator (SENCO) and Assistant SENCOs, working collaboratively to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural challenges.
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and Assistant SENCOs to monitor and report on student progress.
- Support students in developing coping mechanisms and conflict resolution skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children who have behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
