About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to work in a school in Bridlington. In this role, you will provide crucial support to students who face behavioral challenges, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to address behavioral issues and promote positive behavior.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviors effectively.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to engage in their education.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A patient, resilient, and understanding individual with a passion for supporting young people.
  • Experience in a similar role, particularly in working with students with behavioral difficulties, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to challenging situations.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
