-          08:30-15:30.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students within Secondary schools? Do you possess strong behaviour management and an open mind? A Secondary school within the Preston area are currently looking to recruit a support staff member to work within the isolation class, managing behaviour and keeping the students on track.

Responsibilities:

-          Strong behaviour management to ensure the students are completing the work set by their Class Teachers.

-          Develop positive relationships with the students to understand their individual needs.

-          Monitor the student’s behaviour and inform Class Teachers.

-          Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour.

Qualifications:

-          Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour.

-          Experience within an educational setting. (This could be either a Primary or Secondary school setting or Youth work experience.)

-          Strong communication skills.

-          Commitment to reducing negative behaviour.

-          A relevant qualification in education is desirable but not essential.

-          A commitment to promoting inclusivity.

-          Adapting to meet the needs of the students and the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
