If so, Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our client schools as a full-time Behaviour Teaching Assistant at a school in Stockport.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with behavioural challenges in the classroom setting, providing one-on-one assistance and implementing behaviour management strategies.

Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Assist in the development and implementation of individualised behaviour plans for students, working closely with the Special Education team.

Monitor and record student progress, behaviour patterns, and any incidents, providing regular feedback to the teaching staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships.

Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students in overcoming behavioural challenges.

A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
