Do you have a passion for working with children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Special Educational Needs? We are partnering with a well-established secondary school situated in the heart of Wigan, Greater Manchester, to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Mentor.

The school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor who can inspire students and provide vital support on a one-to-one and small group basis. This role is ideal for graduates or individuals with a background in youth work, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and support those with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural issues.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and reflective about teaching and learning.
  • Able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best outcomes.
  • Caring, empathetic, and sensitive to the needs of the children.
  • Committed to continuously raising standards, self-evaluation, and school improvement.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Pay: starting at £84 per day, paid weekly
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Possible temporary to permanent contract for the right candidate
