We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel in September. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO and Inclusion Manager to provide support to students who require additional behavioural support within the classroom and wider school environment.

Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

Location: Tameside

Contract Type: Full-time

Salary: £1400 - £1600 (dependent on experience/qualifications)

The primary role of a BSA is to provide individualized support to students who are struggling with behavioural issues. This may involve working one-on-one with students to identify triggers for their behaviour, developing behaviour plans, and providing ongoing support to help students implement these plans successfully.

In addition to working directly with students, BSAs also work closely with teachers and other school staff to create a positive learning environment. They may provide training and support to teachers on how to manage challenging behaviours in the classroom, or work with school administrators to develop school-wide policies and procedures for managing student behaviour.

Overall, the role of a Behaviour Support Assistant is critical in helping secondary school students overcome behavioural challenges and achieve academic success.
