Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

Location: Secondary School in the Stockport Area

Job Description:

The Behaviour Support Assistant is a key role within the school, responsible for providing support to students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties. The primary function of this position is to work closely with the school’s staff, including teachers, therapists, and other support professionals, to develop and implement strategies for managing and improving student behaviour.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. A relevant qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.

  4. A proven track record of successfully managing and improving student behaviour.
  5. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to special educational needs and behaviour management.
