Location: L11 in Liverpool
Start Date: 23rd September 2024

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to work one-on-one with a pupil who has ADHD and displays challenging behaviour. This role is crucial in helping the child achieve their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

  • Provide consistent, individualised support to the pupil throughout the school day.
  • Implement strategies and interventions to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Monitor and report on the pupil's progress and any concerns.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
  • Experience working with children with ADHD and behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
