About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Mentor to join our dynamic team in Grantham. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored behavioural and emotional support. Your role will be crucial in helping students achieve their full potential and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to create a supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in a support capacity.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
