Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Implement individual behaviour support plans and strategies.
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to support student development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a behaviour support role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN qualifications) are desirable but not essential.
