Behaviour Support Assistant Position in Kirkdale (L5)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a well-regarded primary school in Kirkdale (L5). The school is looking for a dedicated Specialist Support Assistant to join their KS1 department for the remainder of the academic year. Initially, the position will be temporary, but subject to a successful probation period, the Headteacher intends to offer a permanent contract in the upcoming academic year.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children who are facing behavioural and emotional challenges following their return to full-time education. Working closely with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, your objective will be to help them reintegrate smoothly into the school and classroom environment. Collaboration with the Class Teacher, school SENCo, and parents will be essential in identifying and implementing effective strategies tailored to each child's individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
