Behaviour Support Assistant (Entry-Level) – PRU
Location: Salford | Start: September

Join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford, supporting students aged 4-11 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

About the Role:
Kickstart your education career! As an Entry-Level Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students, helping them improve behavior, build confidence, and succeed in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for behavior improvement.
  • Assist with behavior plans and classroom management.
  • De-escalate challenging situations.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students.
  • Help develop students’ social and emotional skills.

  • Passion for helping students with challenging behaviors.
  • Resilience, patience, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • No qualifications required; interest in behavior management a plus.
