We are specifically working with an alternative provision school who require a behaviour mentor who is willing to go above and beyond. Times are different and challenging, but your support will be invaluable to young people who are currently not in the main classrooms of school. They are a chatty bunch & will require you to be fair but firm in a friendly way.
The role:
This role is to provide mentoring, a calming influence, and educational support where needed. This work is challenging, different, yet extremely rewarding. You will be working closely with students who may have difficulties focusing and engaging with “normal” classroom work – so patience is key, along with a calm, pleasant smile and a relaxing attitude to work. No two days will ever be the same – not for you, or the children you work with.

Salary: £385.00 - £450.00 per week
Location: West Sussex
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30pm – 3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
