We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Southampton. You will work with students who struggle with behaviour management, offering support to improve their behaviour, engagement, and academic progress. This is an essential role in ensuring that students with behavioural challenges can succeed in their educational journey.

The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with students to help them manage and improve their behaviour in the classroom.
  • Developing individual behaviour plans and working closely with the SENCO and teachers to implement strategies.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, self-esteem, and resilience in students.
  • Acting as a role model and providing pastoral support when needed.
