Vacancy: Behaviour Support Assistant (4 Days a Week)
Location: Blackburn
Start Date: After October Half-Term
Contract: Part-Time (4 days per week)

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Blackburn. This role is essential in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them achieve their full potential in a positive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in managing behaviour and emotional difficulties
  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies
  • Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and learning
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting positive behaviour
