Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an Alternative Provision in Burnley. This is an Alternative Provision that caters for pupils aged 5 to 16. They are passionate about making a difference, removing challenges to learning, having a positive impact, delivering high quality teaching and learning.

They are looking for casual Teaching Assistants to work within their provision on a part-time basis.

-        Burnley

-        KS3 – KS4 Teaching Assistant

-        SEMH provision

-        Temporary contract

-        Part-time 2/3 days a week

-        £12.90 - £13.50 p/hour

The role would be to support as instructed to by the class teacher this may be on a 1:1 and whole group basis. Due to the nature of the pupils building positive working relationships is essential therefore being resilient, calm and approachable are all characteristics that you must posses in order to be successful.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
