If you’re looking to make a difference in a child’s life and act as a positive role model, then this role could be for you!

A large Primary School in Moston, Manchester, are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing nurture and support for children who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds to use their skills and warm personality to offer their support as a Full Time, Behaviour Support for a Year 5 pupil.

A little bit about the role:

  • Supporting a year 5, looked after child, who has dyslexia and needs extra support with their class work and guidance with their personal & social development.
  • Offer a nurturing and understanding approach.
  • Have a fun and playful personality, whilst setting firm boundaries.
  • Full Time – Term Time only.

Key Abilities:

  • An ability to use a variety of techniques to support children with managing their behaviour.
  • Experience either in a school, within youth work or care with children and young people.
  • Have an understanding approach and be a patient individual.
  • Be reliable and consistent, as this is important for the child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
