Behaviour Support

Location: Torfaen.
Hours: 08:30-15:00 Monday to Friday.
Pay: Minimum £110 per day.
*Term time only*

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual keen to test their ability to build rapport with secondary aged pupils in a fast paced and thriving school environment. This is the perfect role for someone keen to work on their confidence and communication skills. About the role:

• Managing a classroom of upto 30 pupils in the teachers absence.
• Working closely with pupils with all abilities.
• Ensuring pre-set work is delivered and completed.
• Dynamic and exciting role managing the classes of all subject areas.
• Effectively de-escalating disruptive behaviour.
• Taking the register, handing out work and ensuring the classrooms are kept tidy.
• Excellent experience for those thinking of going into a teaching career.

If you think you could confidently build rapport with pupils aged 11-16 and fancy embarking on a new adventure, this is the perfect role for you. This is a full time position due to start after the school Easter holidays and will be an ongoing role until July 2024. If successful then you will be booked back into the school for the fresh academic year in September 2024.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
